_well, we thought the search for our new home will be long and arduous and fill with fighting over the best ones with hundreds of other applicants – but we are finished, found it, rented it 😀 so we are very happy and excited about the new place!!!

_this meant a little disturbance in our work _ regardless, we moved forward _ Ben had many successes this week within the company – he successfully convinced colleagues about a better solution, or they found something together _ he was very excited about this as well _ I was also progressing and had 2 interviews this week for the podcast, many in the organisation phase, and we also made progress on the energy book _ I haven’t yet started the WTF book but the interviews are getting to a good buffer, so soonish I will get to that point 🙂 SNAAP and UniMelb also progresses in their own pace 😀 

_both of us had a friend lunch on Wednesday – I went to Japanese place with Jaime and talked about her and my work, future prospects and stuff like that, while Ben took his friend to the Vietnamese restaurant we found 2 weeks ago _ the guy has been living here since before we moved here but didn’t know about this place 😀 so Ben enjoyed sharing the yummy food with his friend 😀

_we were waiting for the results of an application while I was still browsing the housing market and found a gem – basically in the same place, but bigger, better, closer to the important stuff, although not newly built _on Wednesday, we said we want to check it out – did so on Thursday, checked out the place and talked with the real estate agent, applied in the evening, and on Friday morning we got the notification that our was accepted so we should pay the bond, which we did immediately while squeeking with delight (okay, mainly I was squeeking, Ben was just happy and laughing at my noises 😀 ) _ this also meant that the afternoon inspections could be cancelled which Ben was even more delighted for 😀 since then, I am bombarding Ben with ideas on how to utilise the house for the best, which he takes in very nicely and patiently 😀 but I asked him to hold me back from purchasing any new furniture until we have lived there for at least a month – so I am just collecting stuff on the Ikea website 😀

_hát, azt képzeltük, hogy ez a házvadászat ilyen szuper fárasztó és hosszú menet lesz, mert százakkal kell majd megküzdeni a legjobb helyekért – de be is fejeztük, mert kibéreltünk egy szuper helyet 😀 nagyon örülünk neki és nagyon várjuk az új helyet!!!

_ez amúgy sajnos a munkában zavart jelentett _ bár azért annyira nem akasztott meg minket a haladásban _ Bencének elég sok sikere volt a héten a cégen belül – meg tudott győzni néhány kollégát jobb megoldásokról, vagy sikerült együtt találni valamit, ami mindenkinek sokkal szuperebb _ én is haladtam, volt kettő interjúm a podcastre, rengeteget szervezek, és még az energiás könyvvel is haladtunk _ még nem kezdtem el a podcast könyvet, de az interjúk kezdenek már egészen jó bufferrel rendelkezni, szóval lassan eljutok oda is 🙂 SNAAP meg MelbourneUni is halad a saját tempójában 😀

_mind a ketten baráttal ebédeltünk szerdán, de külön – én egy japán helyre mentem Jaime-vel, akivel beszélgettünk melóról, jövőről meg mindenről, míg Bence elvitte az egyik barátját a vietnámi étterembe, amit 2 hete fedeztünk fel _ a srác régebb óta lakik itt a környéken, mint mi, és még ismerte a helyet 😀 szóval Bence örült, hogy megoszthajta a fincsi hamit egy új emberrel 😀

_és bár vártunk egy helyre, ahova beadtuk a jelentkezést, én azért hősiesen tovább bújtam a piacot, és találtam egy szuperkirály helyet – nagyjából ugyanazon a környéken, csak nagyobb, jobb, közelebb van a fontos pontokhoz, bár nem újépítésű _ szerdán mondtuk, hogy megnéznénk, amit csütörtökön meg is tettünk, csevegtünk az ingatlan ügynökkel, majd este beadtuk a jelentkezést, és péntek reggel kaptuk az értesítést, hogy miénk a hely, szóval a kaukciót be kéne fizetni, amit azonnal meg is tettünk, miközben nagy boldogan sikongattunk (nyilván én sikongattam, Bence boldogan vihogott a hangokon, amiket kiadtam 😀 ) _ ez azt is jelentette, hogy a délutáni megtekintést le tudtuk mondani, aminek Bence még jobban örült 😀 azóta persze Bencét bombázom mindenféle ötlettel, hogy hogy tudjuk majd a legjobban kihasználni a házat, amit nagyon kedvesen és türelmesen meghallgat 😀 de megkértem, hogy engedjem semmilyen új bútort venni addig, míg legalább egy hónapot nem laktunk az új helyet – szóval most az ikea honlapon gyűjtögetem a dolgokat 😀
