_summer is in full swing and we are back to our regular scheduled programming with progress in work and also having fun outside of it 🙂 there were interesting meetings this week and we closed it with an active but relaxing Saturday_ _even though the weather seduces everyone to just laze around on the beach, we are working hard in our respective fields _ Ben had many-many meetings regarding his projects (some outside of normal hours :S ) but he also has been getting feedback that his previous projects created this amount of change and his colleagues are very grateful for his work, so that gives him the motivation to go even further 😀 I also had many meetings for Vitruvian and the podcast, things are moving ahead and I will have a very special episode with Ben and a quantum gravity researcher about the future of cities and physics – so freaking interesting!!! I was also working on the SCC content strategy and the first version will be discussed in this coming week, so that is a big thing forward 🙂 _outside of work, we have been looking around for a new apartment – not that we needed, just to see how the market looks like, so we checked out 6 places this week _ none of them were really enthused us so we will stay where we are and approach it from a different perspective 🙂 we also had our usual PhD lunch with Manow and Jaime and discussed how the week went and what will happen in the next _ and naturally, two of the most important events of the week were the Blue Origin (Jeff Bezos’ company) and the Starship launches which we both watched (almost) live 😀 _we finished the week with a busy morning on Saturday with 3 inspections and a breakfast in a completely new place, and then relaxed in the sauna just to freeze ourselves in a cold plunge 😀 but it was really great because after the cold plunge we were walking home on the sunshine so our systems did not freeze over 😀 |
_a nyár teljes erőbedobással itt van, mi meg visszatértünk a rendes kerékvágásba melóval és szórakozással 🙂 izgalmas találkozók voltak a héten, amit aztán egy mozgalmas de mégis pihis szombattal zártunk_ _bár az időjárás mindenkit a strandon való pihire csábít, mi keményen dolgoztunk a saját dolgainkon _ Bencének rengeteg meetingje volt a projektjeivel kapcsolatban (néhány nem normális időben :S ) de mindeközben kapja a visszajelzéseket a korábbi projektjeivel kapcsolatban, hogy mennyi minden változott miatta és hogy a kollégái mennyire hálásak a dolgokért, amiket csinál, ami persze csak növeli a motivációját 😀 nekem is sok találkozóm volt a Vitruviannel meg a podcasttel kapcsolatban, dolgok történnek és lesz egy szuper különleges epizód a podcasten, amikor Bencével meginterjúvolunk egy quantum-gravitációs kutatót a városok és a fizika jövőjéről – elképesztően izgis!!! a héten a SCC tartalomfejlesztési stratégián is dolgoztam, és az első verziót a héten meg is fogjuk beszélni, szóval ez is nagy haladás 🙂 _melón kívül meg elkezdtünk nézegetni új lakás iránt – nem mert kell, csak mert kíváncsiak voltunk, hogy hogy áll a piac, úgyhogy meg is néztünk 6 lakást a héten _ egyik sem volt elképesztően vonzó, úgyhogy inkább maradunk, és máshonnan közelítjük meg a továbblépést 🙂 megvolt a szokásos PhD ebéd Manow-val meg Jaime-vel, és jót beszélgettünk az elmúlt és a következő hétről is _ és persze a hét két legfontosabb pillanata a Blue Origin (Jeff Bezos cége) és a Starship fellövés volt, amiket (majdnem) élőben néztünk 😀 _a hetet egy mozgalmas délelőttel fejeztük be szombaton 3 megtekintéssel és egy reggelivel egy teljesen új helyen, majd elolvadtunk a szaunában, hogy aztán lehűljünk a jeges fürdőben 😀 de nagyon jó volt, mert a jeges fürdő után a napsütésben sétáltunk haza, szóval a rendszereink nem fagytak teljesen össze 😀 |
