_well, after getting completely well, we jumped into the other side of the pendulum and had many events during the week _ we finished off with a surfing day with friends on the Great Ocean Road with more or less success, but definite fun 😀 _Ben is working hard on his projects for the company and even more people show interest in the results _ he is also helping a few colleagues here and there, so he progressed on both fronts _ I had my research assistant work, my project with Christchurch moving forward, a podcast interview, another project with University of Melbourne agreed on, and a networking lunch where I met most of the biggest names in Australian manufacturing 😀 so it was a packed week for the both of us 😀 _one of the biggest events of this week was the Starship launch on Thursday – Ben was talking about this in advance and then had a launch party watching party with a few friends into the night _ he arrived home around 2 am 😀 and on Friday he was telling me what has happened and since then we are discussing what could come 😀 so it was indeed very important 🙂 here is a good summary, according to Ben 😀 we also had our PhD lunch on Friday with less excitement 😀 _and on Saturday we arranged to go surfing with friends on the Great Ocean Road – the first occasion for us to surf in natural water 😀 we had a great brunch in Torquay (just in case, of course) and then headed to the shore with a stop for renting boards – because we do not have ours 😀 our friend said that the waves weren’t really great that day, and then when we drove a bit further at the end of the day, she was moaning becuase she saw places with better waves a few minutes away 😀 so we agreed that next time we’ll go there 😀 we had less success with the surfing but definitely enjoyed the trip 😀 |
_nos, teljes felépülés után igencsak belevetettük magunkat az életbe, és rengeteg eseményen vettünk részt _ majd a hetet szörfözéssel fejeztük be a Great Ocean Road-on barátokkal, kisebb sikerrel, de nagy élményekkel 😀 _Bence keményen dolgozik a céges projektjén és még mindig egyre több emberke jön rá, hogy ez mennyire király _ mindeközben, a kollégáinak is segít, szóval mindkét fronton haladt eléggé _ én meg dolgoztam a kutatói asszisztensi melóban, folytattuk a christchurchi projektet, kitaláltunk mindent egy Melbourne Egyetem új projektre, volt podcast interjúm, és még egy ebéden is voltam, ahol találkoztam az ausztrál helyi gyártás nagy koponyáival 😀 szóval eléggé tele volt a hét mindkettőnknek 😀 _viszont a hét egyik legnagyobb eseménye a Starship fellövése volt csütörtökön – Bence erre várt egész héten, és aztán csináltak egy fellövést néző partit barátokkal, éjszakába nyúlóan _ éjjel 2 körül ért haza 😀 és aztán pénteken meg nagy lelkesen mesélte, hogy mi történt, azóta meg nagy lelkesen beszéljük, hogy mi jöhet 😀 szóval tényleg nagyon fontos volt 🙂 itt egy jó összefoglaló (angol, de lehet generálni automatikus magyar feliratot), Bence szerint 😀 meg persze megvolt a PhD ebéd is pénteken, kisebb izgalmakkal 😀 _és aztán szombatra meg szerveztünk egy kirándulást barátokkal a Great Ocean Roadra, hogy szörfözzünk természetes vízben is először 😀 azért megálltunk egy fini reggelire Torquay-ben, és csak utána mentünk a deszka-bérelő helyre, majd onnan a partra 😀 a barátunk mondta, hogy a hullámok nem az igaziak, és aztán a nap végén még kicsit tovább vezettünk, és jajgatott, hogy ott mennyivel jobbak voltak 😀 szóval jól megegyeztünk, hogy legközelebb majd jól odamegyünk 😀 nem nagyon volt sikeres a szörf rész, de cserébe jól éreztük magunkat 😀 |
