_wow, this week was packed with events left and right, we held our own ceremony to move to the next step after the PhD research, and even the sun is getting out promising real (and less wet) spring finally 😀 

_Ben is prepping for their annual review while also helping his colleagues to use his tools (and working on the next ones already 😀 ) _ he went to a few events checking out the industry in Melbourne whether they or his company are the most up-to-date, what to pay attention to and stuff _ we also attended a Top Tech Trends debate just for funzies and established afterwards that we also have some ideas for such a debate 😀 I had a few interesting meetings for the business and an amazing interview with a futurist for the podcast _ we really had fun this week professionally as well 😀

_we had social events _ Manow and Ohm (her husband) came to our house for our PhD lunch on Wednesday before flying back to Thailand _ I finally met Ben’s new best friend and talked about the meaning of life for starters 😀 and Ben used Thursday’s planned power outage to meet up with friends from all over the world_

_on Saturday, we had our usual perfect brunch and coffee (we suspect that the staff at both places already recognise us because we got our food waaay faster than it was supposed to come so the chefs probably started our meal before we even ordered it, and in the café one of the baristas shouted as soon as she saw us walking in our order, again before we said a word 😀 ) and then walked from CBD to our neighbourhood in the marvellous sunshine _ in the evening, following traditions established with my previous uni friends, we went to say farewell to the PhD’s 4 years in a particular ceremony – it was very fitting because we held this ceremony exactly 4 years after the day I started and had my first meeting with my supervisor_

_nos, ez a hét tele volt mindenféle eseménnyel, és még egy PhD 4 év búcsú ceremóniát is tartottunk, és még a nap is jön előfele, egy meleg (és kevésbé vizes) tavaszt ígérve végre 😀

_Bence a héten elkezdte az előkészületeket az éves értékelésükre, miközben segített a kollégáinak használni a cuccokat, amiket csinált (miközben persze már a következőkön dolgozik 😀 ) _ volt egy-két esemény is amire elment, hogy megnézze, hogy áll az ipar, és vajon az ipar vagy ők vannak előrébb, mire kell figyelni, stb _ együtt is mentünk egy Top Tech Trends vitára, hogy halljunk izgis dolgokat, és utána jól megállapítottuk, hogy nekünk is lenne egy-két ötletünk ilyen vitára 😀 nekem is volt néhány izgis találkozóm a céghez, meg egy szuper-izgalmas interjú egy futuristával a podcastre _ nagyon jól szórakoztunk a héten meló szempontból is 😀

_persze szociális események is voltak _ Manow és Ohm (a férje) eljöttek hozzánk, hogy a szerdai ebédet együtt együk mielőtt még visszarepülnek Thaiföldre _ én végre találkoztam Bence új legjobb barátjával és beszélgettünk az élet értelméről, kezdésnek 😀 Bence kihasználta a tervezett csütörtöki áramszünetet, és a barátaival szervezett egy meetinget a világ minden tájáról_

_szombaton megvolt a szokásos  tökéletes villásreggeli és kávé (erős a gyanúnk, hogy mindkét helyen már tudják, hogy mit kérünk, mert a reggeli sokkal gyorsabban jött meg mint, hogy annak kellett volna, hogy ha csak a rendelés után állnak neki készíteni, a kávézóban meg meglátott minket az egyik barista és hátraszólt a rendelést leadva, mielőtt még sorra kerültünk volna 😀 ) aztán pedig kihasználva a csodás napsütést, a központból hazasétáltunk _ este pedig követtünk egy még a BME-s barátaimmal megalapított hagyományt, és elbúcsúztattuk a PhD elmúlt 4 évét – tökéletes időzítéssel, mert pontosan 4 évvel az első napom és témavezetői meetingem után tartottuk_
