_spring is continuously blooming, people are making their gardens spring ready and stuff (just now at least 2 lawn mowers are shouting in the neighbourhood 😀 ) and we are progressing with full steam ahead _ luckily, we also had a great Saturday to rejuvenate to the next week with some natural and alcoholic experiences 😀

_Ben had his first year assessment with his boss and the major idea was that he needs to focus more on the research part and less on the firefighting part, although the boss said that what he had done in the past would take at least three times more time for others to do 😀 so he is well acknowledged, I would say 😀 plus, they are setting up their quarterly goals and Ben is really excited about his new ones and says that they will change the world (I might be exaggerating 😀 ) _ I also had amazing reviews: the conference paper got accepted, and my primary supervisor stated (in writing!!!) that my thesis is very interesting, though the discussion is still long and heavy but with important stuff 😀 and I interviewed my other supervisor for my podcast – so we progressed all over the place 😀

_yesterday, after such a progressive week, we decided to have a slower paced day so we started with reading in the bed but this was disrupted by Pebble who was rescued by Ben and placed safely outside to a tree (Ben called it Pebble because we read a book where a bigger spider-like creature was called Rocky, so it was obvious 😀 ) _ after rescuing Pebble, we went to the CBD strolling before the crown jewel of the day – gin tasting at our friend’s house!!! _ I have never drunk gin before (or just in cocktails which I assume doesn’t count 😀 ) and Ben was obviously not drinking so we were the ideal guests 😀 but the drinks were great and tasty and the company was interesting so we had a lovely evening 🙂 although the main star of the evening, the signature gin didn’t arrive, they said that there will be another event for that, just to be sure 😀

_a tavasz folyamatosan virágzik, az emberek rendezgetik a kertjeiket (csak most a környéken ketten vágnak füvet éppen 😀 ) és mi is haladunk teljes gőzzel előre _ szerencsére, szuper szombatunk is volt, hogy felkészüljünk a következő hétre némi természeti és alkoholos élményekkel 😀

_Bencének megvolt az első évi értékelése a főnökével, és a fő visszajelzés az volt, hogy jobban kéne koncentrálni a kutatás részre és kevesebbet a tűzoltásra, bár a főnök azt is mondta, hogy amit Bence tűzoltás közben elintéz, az másoknak 3x annyi időbe kerülne 😀 szóval megbecsülik, azt lehet mondani 😀 meg most rakják össze a következő negyedéves tervet és Bence nagyon lelkes az előtte álló feladatok iránt amik meg fogják változtatni a világot (lehet, hogy túlzok 😀 ) _ én szintén haladtam: a cikkem a konferenciára el lett fogadva, a témavezetőm azt írta (!!!) hogy nagyon érdekes lett a tézis, bár az értekezés rész még mindig hosszú és nehéz, de csupa fontos dolog van benne 😀 és még a másik témavezetőmet is meginterjúvoltam a podcastbe – úgyhogy a haladás mindenhol is történt 😀

_tegnap pedig, egy ilyen haladós hét után elhatároztuk, hogy tartunk egy lassabb szombatot, amit olvasással kezdtünk, de ez jól meg lett szakítva Kavics által, akit aztán Bence békében kirakott egy fára (Bence nevezte el Kavicsnak, mert olvastunk egy könyvet, amiben volt egy nagyobb pókszerű lény és Rockynak (Kő) hívták, szóval egyértelmű volt 😀 ) _ Kavics megmentése után bementünk a városba császkálni a napfénypontja előtt – egy gin kóstoló a barátunk házában!!! _ én még sose ittam gint (hacsaknem koktélban, de azt gondolom, hogy az nem számít 😀 ) és Bence nyilván nem ivott, szóval mi voltunk az ideális vendégek 😀 de az italok jók voltak és az emberek érdekesek, szóval egy jó esténk volt 🙂 még ha fő attrakció gin hiányzott is, mert nem érkezett meg, amire viszont megígérték, hogy lesz egy következő alkalom, csak a biztonság kedvéért 😀
