_Ben, finally, was able to convince his colleagues that what they really need is a graph approach and he could provide that approach for them – this week they gave in, and gave him the task to visualise part of the company and the procedures in graph _ he was so happy about this – he told everyone we know and had a meeting this week 😀 but it was really good to see him being so excited 🙂 additionally, they had their sprint review on Friday, and he showed them how he did with this task – they were really interested and amazed by his progress and presentation _ he was really happy about it 😀

_both of us are learning something 😀 I mean, this should not be such a big deal, but still 😀 we are actively learning some stuff _ Ben started the FastAI course with one of his favourite programmer and teacher, and he is reading their book in the evening (as a light read, I guess…) _ I am learning how to code 😀 there is a platform called DataCamp and professors and teachers can create free classes on this platform for learning to code – Jeni was kind enough to create me a course, and thus, I am an intermediate python programmer already 😀 although I do not really have the confidence what I had with English or German when I reached the intermediate level… but we shall see how well I can do with this new knowledge (I started because I could use it for my research as data science and analyses) _ since both of us like to advance, this is pretty awesome – and Ben is so enthusiastic for the progress he make and for me to being a coder monkey 😀 it is really funny: sometimes I tell him what I have done, and he is over the moon for me to achieve that step _ it is great 🙂

_obviously, we had our meetings with our friends _ one of them is really keen on the end of this lock down, and she is already planning a road trip to country of Victoria and invited us as well _ Jaime is really working on her next review stuff coming up next month and she is kind of worried but working really hard _ Manow is really keen on coming back to Melbourne, she is now working from Thailand, but she said that she misses the coffee from here so much, and of course, us as well 😀 and we saw Charlotte as well, she was really busy in the last few weeks due to her role as a unit conveyor which is full of challenges in these times but she had one day with students on campus (anatomy is really hard to teach only online…) and she spoke for 8 hours strait 😀 she enjoyed it really 😀

_and since the weather now shows its spring face, yesterday we went for our training session with Ben _ I was skating without falling majestically onto my face (with every protective gear I can wear, do not worry, Ben is taking care of that part 😀 ), and it was great to move in the early hours in the sunshine _ I was even racing with rowing crews on the Yarra, and they just gave up at some point cowardly fleeing and turning to the other direction (so I won, although I think they were not aware of the fact that I was racing with them – anyway, do not question a gift victory 😀 ), while Ben was walking from the other direction _ we met and then just walk home in the sunshine – it was marvelous _ we even met with the cockatoos lurking around in the gardens looking for something to eat and not to be bothered by humans at all _ in the afternoon, we decided again to go to the park and have a picnic, but this time we were not reading, but painting!!! you know there were coloring books with pictures cut into pieces and numbers to show which color to use at the particular segment? that kind of painting 😀 it will be a long process but it will be fun 😀 I ordered it to celebrate our moving anniversary and it arrived just after that 😀 so we switched from the puzzles to this activity_

_finally, as I mentioned, the spring is really here, so in the pictures you will see a lot of plants bursting into buds and blooming, while our bee feeder field is also growing – maybe a little slower but strongly 🙂 yesterday, while drinking coffee, Ben almost turned into a Disney princess, a butterfly visited us, and although it almost landed on Ben, finally it chose our railing on the balcony instead _ so you can see the pictures from this week through this link_

_Bence végre meg tudta győzni a kollégáit, hogy amire igazán szükségük van, az bizony a gráfok, és hogy ő azt igazán nagyon szívesen meg tudja nekik csinálni – a héten beadták a derekukat és mondták neki, hogy rendben, akkor csináljon gráfot a cég egy részéről meg a működésükről _ olyan boldog volt ettől – mindenkinek elmondta, hogy most ezzel foglalkozik, akivel csak találkoztunk a héten 😀 de nagyon jó volt ilyen lelkesnek látni 🙂 aztán meg is volt a kéthét utáni megbeszélésük, ahol megmutatta nekik, hogy mit csinált – nagyon tetszett nekik meg érdekelte őket _ Bence nagyon örült neki 😀

_mindeközben mind a ketten tanulunk 😀 mondjuk, ez nem nagy újdonság, de akkoris 😀 mind a ketten aktívan tanulunk _ Bence elkezdett egy FastAI nevű kurzust, amit az egyik kedvenc programozója és tanárja tanít, olvassa közben a könyvüket is esténként (gondolom, könnyű esti olvasmánynak 😀 ) _ én meg tanulok programozni 😀 van egy honlap, DataCamp, ahol egyetemi tanárok meg professzorok tudnak ingyenes kurzust csinálni diákoknak és Jeni volt olyan kedves és csinált nekem kurzust, szóval immáron középfokú python programozónak mondhatom magam 😀 bár egyáltalán nem érzem azt a fajta magabiztosságot, mint amikor angolban vagy németben elértem ezt a szintet… de majd meglátjuk, hogy hogyan haladunk ezzel az új dologgal (a kutatásomhoz fogom elvileg tudni használni, adatbányászathoz meg elemzéshez) _ mivel mind a ketten szeretünk fejlődni, ez elég király – és Bence olyan lelkes a saját fejlődésével meg az én programozómajmóca előre haladásommal 😀 nagyon vicces: néha elmesélem neki, hogy épp mit tanultam meg, és olyankor a fellegekben jár, úgy örül a tanulásomnak _ és ez szuper 🙂

_persze, megvoltak a szokásos találkák is a barátainkkal _ egyikük már nagyonnagyon szeretné, hogy ez a karantén dolog véget érjen, és már tervezgeti, hogy miután vége, hova menjünk együtt ki a vidékbe _ Jaime nagyon keményen dolgozik a következő mérföldkövén (következő hónap) és kissé aggódik is miatta, pedig nagyon keménye dolgozik érte _ Manow már alig várja, hogy vissza tudjon jönni Melbourne-be Thaiföldről – mondta, hogy nagyon hiányzik neki az itteni kávé, meg persze mi is 😀 és végre megint láttuk Charlottot, akinek az elmúlt hetek igencsak tele voltak egy tárgy miatt, aminek ő a tárgyfelelőse (nem volt egyszerű a 4xi átszervezés miatt) – kihívásokkal teli időszak, de volt egy napja a campuszon diákokkal (anatómiát egy kicsit nehéz csak online tartani), és 8 órát beszélt egyhuzamban 😀 amit amúgy nagyon élvezett 😀

_és mivel az idő valóban a tavaszi arcát mutatja, tegnap Bencével megtettük a szokásos edzős körünket _ én görkoriztam csodás pofáraesések nélkül (minden védőfelszereléssel, amit csak rám lehet aggatni, Bence erről gondoskodik 😀 ) és csodás volt a korai órákban a napsütésben korizni _ még versenyeztem is a Yarrán evezős csapatokkal, akik végül gyáván feladva megfutamodtak és megfordultak az ellenkező irányba (úgyhogy nyertem, bár nem gondolom, hogy tisztában lettek volna a verseny létével – de ezzel nem foglalkozunk, ajándék győzelemnek nem nézzük a fogát 😀 ), miközben Bence az ellenkező irányból sétált _ majd jól összetalálkoztunk, és onnan hazasétáltunk a napsütésben – mesés volt _ még kakadukkal is találkoztunk, előkertekben mászkáltak hamiért, és az emberek közelsége veszettül nem érdekelte őket _ délután ismét úgy döntöttünk, hogy kimegyünk a parkba piknikezni, de most olvasás helyett festettünk!!! vannak azok a színező könyvek, ahol a képek fel vannak osztva ilyen kisebb darabokra és színkódolva vannak, hogy milyen színnel kell kifesteni őket – na ilyen festést csináltunk 😀 egy ideig el fog tartani, amíg végzünk vele, de jó szórakozás 😀 a kiérkezésünk évfordulójára rendeltem, de persze épp utána érkezett meg 😀 úgyhogy most váltottunk kirakósról festésre_

_és ahogy már említettem, a tavasz tényleg megérkezett, úgyhogy a képeken nagyon sok rügyező meg virágzó növényt lehet majd látni, meg a kis méh legelőnk növekedését – kissé lassan, de biztosan 🙂 tegnap pedig, amíg ittuk a kávét, Bence majdnem Disney hercegnővé vált, mert egy pillangó meglátogatta az erkélyünket, és bár majdnem Bencére szállt le, végül a korlátot választotta _ úgyhogy ezeket mind meg lehet nézni a képek között ezen a linken keresztül_
