_last Sunday, we replanted our plants, the nursery is discarded for a while, and the pants evolved into school 😀 _ this means that we had bought them some pots, and they were replanted and now they are trying to stay alive in their new habitat (the nursery is cancelled until we are sure that the first set will stay alive long enough after the replanting and after they occupy their final place on the balcony – we are waiting for a little for that due to the weather, but if the current version continues, then we can set them outside basically tomorrow) _ so now they sit in their new homes in the kitchen window, and we shall see how well they will grow from now on 😀 _ however, it was great to see that they grew so long and strong roots in the nursery, that now I am not really afraid of their death for now – obviously, as long as I am not watering them 😀

_regarding the weather during this week, it is like a good May week home, back in Hungary, when you don’t really want to go into the water, but the sun is shining strong, and thus you just want to go on a hike to the nature, which we are planning to do soon, but not just yet_

_this is due to my review, next week _ I prepared the presentation for the review, and it was fun, and according to me, done 😀 _ then I asked Ben to listen to it, and he had some great suggestions, so I modified it, and I thought it to be done and finished and great _ on Tuesday, I ask our friends in the PhD guild to listen to it, and they also had really good ideas, exceptionally the ones who already had this review, thus Jaime, Chris and Sharmini made amazing suggestions _ they were cute, they said that although they made a lot of suggestions, this is really great, and that they are afraid that I was offended by such a harsh critique _ in such situations I am really glad that the Hungarian education system, what I experienced was cruel and I even got used to that – their ideas were actionable and constructive, so I told them not to worry, they were really soft comparing what I am used to 😀 so they continued trying to crush me this time 😀 no, they didn’t, because they are not like this 🙂 , but based on their recommendations, I redid the presentation on Wednesday, and thought, hollymolly this seems pretty good, but I already prepared myself for the last round on Thursday to my supervisory meeting and feedback_

_Jeni, Ian and Gergana were quite satisfied and Ian started with the very serious problem to not to use capitals on the slides because it is inconvenient to read 😀 _ they suggested me to spent more time on the stuff I concluded in the report, such as the literature review and the methodology, and do not assume that everyone read the report through and through, a good summary always helps, and spend less time on the schedule and progress I had made up until now _ I was a little sad  and told them that specially that is why I had not included more detail from the report, because it is written, but obviously I can understand everyone is busy _ but each of them made very clear, that what I have done is a great start and the amount I have done is convincing not to question the proposed and indicated progress _ finally, I let them know that although we are not going home for a holiday, I would like to take the following days off – two whole days!!! they agreed and seemed a little relieved 😀 plus I wished them a great and relaxing weekend, and Jeni told us the maybe finally she will be able to relax a bit, at least she has nothing to read from me 😀 I assured her that I could send something but we agreed on not doing that 😀

_despite all of the predictions, Saturday came with bright sunshine, thus we decided with Ben, that we will walk into the centre (10 km) _ however, we started with a small decluttering and rearranging stuff in our living room _ we try to get rid off the ‘wallitis’ and use the space much more consciously, and not to store every stupid thing, but just the really important and useable stuff – so now we realised that we have soooo much space 😀 after decluttering, half of our stuff went to the garbage (mainly empty boxes from the lunch subscription and some other delivery boxes which were kept for the concrete pots to be moulds), we started our trip and walked into the city, discussing in the meantime what we could do with our space and how we want to develop our environment even further _ the whole day was sunny so Ben was in his shorts and I was in short sleeves, but we have seen people with a variety of heat balance wearing winter coats and gloves till Ben’s style 😀 it was really fun and we enjoyed the walk very much_

_in the evening, we came home by train though 😀 went for our favourite burger place to buy some amazing burgers for dinner, and after the dinner at home, our families surprised us to call us for the weekly check in discussions together _ my parents went Ben’s parents home, and after a short technical set up, we were talking with them together – it was really lovely to see them together, a perfect closure for a perfect day_

_még múlt vasárnap este átültettük a kis növénykéinket, és a bölcsi most bezért egy ideig, a növénykék felfejlődtek iskolás korba 😀 _ ez azt jelenti, hogy vettünk nekik műanyag cserepeket és most próbálnak ebben az új környezetben életben maradni (a bölcsi addig van bezárva, amíg ki nem derül, hogy életben maradnak e az átültetés után, és majd túlélik e a kipakolásukat az erkélyre – várunk a jó időre, ami ha így folytatja, akkor holnap lesz, és kirakhatjuk őket akár holnap is) _ szóval most üldögélnek a kis cserepeikben a konyha ablakában, és meglátjuk, hogy hogy nődögélnek mostantól 😀 _ viszont azt nagyon jó volt látni, hogy milyen hosszú gyökereket növesztettek a bölcsiben, így most nem annyira félek hogy ki tudjuk nyírni őket – persze, amíg én nem öntözöm őket 😀

_visszatérve az időjárásra a héten, olyan, mint egy kellemesebb májusi hét otthon, Magyarországon, amikor azért még nem akarsz bemenni a vízbe, de azért a nap nagyon melegen és erősen süt, és leginkább csak kirándulni volna jó a természetben, amit tervezünk is, de a jövőhéten_

_méghozzá a meghallgatásom miatt _ elkészítettem a bemutatót rá, kissé humoros volt, és szerény véleményem szerint kész 😀 _ aztán megkértem Bencét, hogy hallgassa meg, és volt nagyon sok nagyon jó ötlete, úgyhogy változtattam a prezentáción, és úgy gondoltam, hogy na akkor ez is kész és milyen szuper _ kedden megkértem a PhD barátainkat, hogy hallgassák meg, és nekik is volt nagyon sok jó ötletük, főleg azoknak, akiknek már megvolt ez a meghallgatása, szóval Jaime, Chris és Sharmini nagyon jókat mondott _ nagyon kedvesek voltak, és mondták, hogy bár ez nagyon sok javaslat, alapvetően nagyon jó, és hogy egy kicsit aggódnak, hogy nyersek voltak _ ez ilyen esetekben kissé hálás vagyok annak a magyar oktatási rendszernek amit én megtapasztaltam és hozzászoktam – az ő ötleteik megvalósíthatóak és konstruktívak voltak, úgyhogy mondtam nekik, hogy ne aggódjanak, meglehetősen finoman mondták el ahhoz képest, amihez szokva vagyok 😀 ezek után persze megpróbáltak megtörni 😀 csak viccelek, ők nem olyanok 🙂 de az ő visszajelzésük alapján ismét újracsináltam a prezentációt, és gondoltam, hogy na ez már igazán király, de azért inkább készítettem magam lelkileg arra, hogy ez még nincs kész, hiszen csütörtökön volt még egy témavezetői megbeszélés_

_Jen, Ian és Gergana nagyon meg voltak elégedve a bemutatóval, de persze azért mondtak egy-két dolgot, Ian kezdte azzal, hogy egy komoly problémát fedezett fel, és ezt azonnal meg kell változtatni ne használjak nyomtatott nagy betűket, mert nem kényelmes olvasni 😀 _ meg javasolták, hogy beszéljek többet arról, amit írtam a riportban, az irodalom kutatásról, meg a kutatási metódusról, és ne feltételezzem, hogy mindenki végigolvasta a riportot az utolsó betűig, és kevesebb időt foglalkozzak azzal, hogy miket csináltam eddig _ mondtam nekik, hogy hát oké, bár egy kicsit szomorú vagyok, mert hát azok ugye le vannak írva a riportban, de persze megértem, hogy a tagoknak nincs idejük főleg így félév végén rendesen elmerülni egy ilyen hosszú dokumentumban _ de mindegyikük mondta, hogy amit összehoztam eddig az nagyon jó kezdés, és amit eddig megcsináltam az meggyőző hogy ne legyen kérdéses a folytatás _ a megbeszélés végén mondtam nekik, hogy bár haza nem megyünk, azért 2 napot szeretnék kivenni közvetlenül a meghallgatás után – 2 teljes napot! mondták hogy persze, és egy kissé fellélegeztek 😀 a végén még kívántam nekik jó hétvégét, meg hogypihenjenek, mire Jeni mondta, hogy ezen a hétvégén még akár össze is jöhet, hisz legalább tőlem nincs mit olvasnia 😀 mondtam neki, hogy ezen amúgy tudunk változtatni, de végül megegyztünk, hogy talán inkább ne 😀

_és minden előrejelzés ellenére, szombat megérkezett és csodás napos időt hozott magával, úgyhogy Bencével úgy döntöttünk, hogy besétálunk a városközpontba (10 km) _ de azért előtte csaptunk egy kisebb selejtezést és átrendezést a nappaliban _ megpróbáljuk leküzdeni a ‘falitis’ betegségünket és tudatosabban használni a teret a nappaliban, és nem csak tárolni mindenféle butus dolgot, hanem csak a nagyon fontos dolgokat megtartani, amiket tényleg használunk is – úgyhogy fel is tűnt nekünk, hogy mennyi helyünk van a nappaliban 😀 a rendrakás után nagyjából a fele cucc a kukába került (elsősorban az üres dobozok a kajaszállítós rendszerből, amiket üres polcoknak használtunk eddig, meg még másik dobozok, amiket betonöntéshez akartunk volna használni), és aztán indultunk is a sétára, miközben elkezdtük megbeszélni, hogy mit is akarunk kezdeni azzal a nagy területtel a nappaliban és hogyan akarjuk tovább fejleszteni a kis otthonunkat _ z egész nap nagyon napos volt, Bence a sortjában sétált én meg rövidujjúban mentem mellette, de nagyon sok féle embert láttunk nagyon különböző hőháztartással téli kabátban meg kesztűben egészen Bence stílusáig 😀 nagyon élveztük a sétát ezen okokból is_

_este azért már vonatttal jöttünk haza 😀 majd elmentünk a kedvenc burgeres helyünkre hogy hozzunk haza fincsi vacsit, és vacsi után a családjaink megleptek minket azzal, hogy egyszerre köszöntek be egy helyről a heti szokásos csevegésre _ a szüleim elmentek bence szüleihez, és egy rövidebb technikai felkészülés után, egyszerre beszélgettünk velük – nagyon kedves dolog volt tőlük és egy igazán méltó befejezése a napunknak_
