_it started with a holiday on Monday due to the Monarch’s birthday – monarch is the sitting one with Elizabeth the 2nd _ obviously, we did not know this, only Ben’s colleagues notified him that there will be noon working on Monday 😀 however, Monday came obviously with a real British weather to celebrate the event properly – foggy and rainy 😀 _ on the other hand, in the afternoon the sun decided to show up to the party, but anyway 😀 Ben decided to work on his side projects and additionally help our friend out with her PhD research _ so we had invited Jaime to spend the afternoon with us, so she arrived, we had a lovely lunch and then they started to work while I was working on my own stuff and keeping Jaime otherwise engaged with talking and asking questions 😀 but we really enjoyed having her here, it was a fun afternoon_

_but on Monday, I started my interviews outside of Swinburne, which meant my first non-pilot interview, which was awesome _ my participant was really nice, and started the conversation with “we will not be able to cover your questions in one sitting, so we should arrange more than one interviews” – I agreed wholeheartedly 😀 the conversation was really invigorating and we really agreed on a follow-up session, so I am more than happy with how this part turned out to be_

_otherwise, I was really productive also _ I finished the CoC report finally, attached everything to it, asked Ben to read through the whole thing (81 pages XD but he did, becuase he is really supportive and wants the best for me 🙂 ), and then sent it on Wednesday to the review panel _ plus I managed to create my presentation for the review itself, to have the report and the presentation state the same stuff _ after that, I started to assess our unit’s last assignments for the students, which takes more time than anticipated thus I couldn’t finish it, but in the meantime I was able to finish my article for the conference in November, and Ben also has read that one already _ so concerning the PhD, this week was full of action 😀

_additionally, I made a step towards being recognised as an Australian HUMAN: I went to convert my Hungarian driving licence into an Australian driving licence _ the procedure is quite simple because the Australians oficially recognise the Hungarian driving licence and experience, you only need to have made an Australian driving licence – which is ridiculous because we drive on different sides of the roads, but I did not really mentioned this to anyone 😀 Thursday morning, I was there, obviously earlier than my appointment, so I just queued along with all those people – everyone was really responsible and kept the 1.5 m distance from each other, there was no crowding at the entrance, and everyone was quite chill and understanding of the procedure to keep everyone safe – it was a great experience _ the conversion itself was pretty fast, the guy at the encounter solved everything in 5 minutes, which means that for 100 AUD and 5 minutes time, everyone can have their Australian driving licence 😀 I am kidding, you need to live here 😀 but it was a fun experience in a bureaucratic system of Australia, quite surprisingly_

_but outside of PhD, we also had our meetings and lunches with our friends and additionally, our plants are GROWING _ for keeping them in this state, we went to the Bunnings to buy some pots to the kitchen window and for the rest of the year, for a vertical garden _ which means, yes, that we gave up our efforts to create pots on our own – Ben got tired of the unsuccessful tries and I agreed that maybe buying pots is more effective and even can be more beautiful (plus I got tired also) 😀 so with complete agreement we bought some pots, and we will rearrange our plants in nursery and kindergarten_

_and finally, after this action full week, we decided not to engage with huge action on the weekend – the weather seemed to support our decision with its gloomy outlook (obviously, after Monday’s foggy start, sun was shining throughout the whole week, only Saturday was that gloomy, even today, Sunday is full of beautiful sunshine…) _ but we started with a well-deserved brunch, and then continued with playing games, reading a lot and relaxing just in general – which was a perfect weekend after such a filled week_

_hétfőn egy szabadnappal kezdődött a Monarchia szülinapja miatt – a jelenlegi monarchia II. Erzsébettel _ persze, mi ezt nem teljesen tudtuk, bencének szóltak a kollégiái, hogy hétfőn nincs meló 😀 mindezt félretéve, megérkezett hétfő az igazi brit időjárással az ünnep örömére, köddel és esővel 😀 _ hozzá kell tenni, hogy délután a nap is megérkezett a partira, de ez nem fontos 😀 Bence úgy döntött, hogy akkor a mellék projektjeivel foglalatoskodik, meg segít az egyik barátunknak a PhD kutatásában _ így meghívtuk Jaime-t hogy töltse velünk a délutánt, úgyhogy meg is érkezett, ebédeltünk együtt, aztán nekiálltak dolgozni, amíg én is dolgoztam, meg foglalkoztattam Jaime-t beszélgetéssel meg kérdésekkel 😀 mindenesetre nagyon örültünk neki, hogy itt volt velünk, nagyon élveztük a délutánt_

_egyébként, hétfőn én meg elkezdtem az interjúkat Swinburne-ön kívül, ami az első nem tesztintetrjút jelenti, ami szuper izgis _ az alany nagyon kedves volt, és azzal kezdte hogy “nem fogunk végezni a kérdéseiddel egy interjú alatt, úgyhogy majd kéne még beszélgetni meg találkozni” – teljes mértékben egyetértettem 😀 a beszélgetés nagyon lelkesítő volt és a végén tényleg megegyeztünk egy következő alkalomban, úgyhogy nagyon elégedett vagyok azzal, ahogy ez alakult_

_de amúgy is nagyon produktív voltam én is _ befejeztem a CoC riportomat végre, hozzácsatoltam mindent, megkértem Bencét, hoyg olvassa végig az egészet (mind a 81 oldalt XD meg is tette, mert nagyon támogat és nagyon jót akar nekem 🙂 ), és aztán szerdán meg is küldtem az egész pakkot a bizottságnak _ sőt, még a prezentációmat is öszeraktam magára a találkozóra, hogy a kettő egyezzen _ ezek után viszont nekiálltam a tárgyunk utosó beadandójának ellenőrzésébe, ami hosszabbnak ígérkezik, mint ahogy számítottam, szóval azt nem tudtam befejezni a héten, de mindeközben befejeztem a következő cikket a konferenciára novemberre, amit Bence szintén elolvasott _ úgyhogy a PhDt tekintve is megvolt a teli hét 😀

_mindezek mellett, megtettem a következő lépést, hogy Ausztráliában is elismerjenek mint EMBERt: elmentem megcsináltatni az ausztrál jogsimat a magyar alapján _ maga a folyamat igen egyszerű, mert az ausztrálok hivatalosan elismerik a magyar jogosítványt és a vezetési tapasztalatot, csak ezek alapján meg kell csináltatni az ausztrál jogsit – ez amúgy hulla vicces, mert ugye az út két ellentétes oldalán vezetünk, de erre nem igyekeztem felhívni senkinek a figyelmét 😀 csütörtök reggel elcsattogtam a megbeszélt időpontra, najó, előtte egy fél órával, beálltam a várakozós sorba a több ember közé – mindenki nagyon felelőségteljesen tartotta a 1,5m távolságot, nem volt tülekedés meg tumultus a bejáratnál, és mindenki nagyon normálisan tudomásul vette, hogy agy tartjuk egymást meg magunkat biztonságban – nagyon jó élmény volt _ maga a folyamat meg elég gyorsan lefolyt, a srác kb 5 perc alatt megoldott mindent, ami azt jelenti, hogy 100 AUD-ért meg 5 percért bárkinek lehet ausztrál jogsija 😀 csak viccelek, itt is kell lakni hozzá 😀 de amúgy egy nagyon jó tapasztalat volt a bürokratikus rendszerben, meglepő mód_

_a PhD-n kívül persze a szokásos baráti találkozóink és ebédeléseink is megvoltak, meg a kis növénykéinkNŐNEK mint a gomba _ hogy ez így is maradjon, elmentünk a Bunningsba (az itteni OBI) virágos ládákat venni a konyha ablakban, meg majd az erkélyünkre vertikális kertet csinálni kora tavasztól _ ez amúgy, igen, azt jelenti, hogy feladtuk a próbálkozásainkat a kaspó öntéssel – Bence megunta a sikertelenséget, én meg egyetértettem, hogy talán a kaspóvásálással hatékonyabbak vagyunk meg szebb végeredmény tudunk kihozni (meg persze nekem is elegem volt a próbálkozások gyümölcstelenségével) 😀 úgyhogy teljes egyetértésben elszambáztunk kaspókat venni, és majd átrendezzük a kis növénykéinket a bölcsiben meg az oviban_

_és egy ilyen mozgalmas hét után úgy döntöttünk, hogy a hétvége a pihenésről fog szólni nagy dolgok nélkül – az időjárás is támogatott minket ebben a kevésbé kintre csábító undiságával (természeten, hétfő reggel után egész héten vidáman sütött a nap, csak a szombat volt undi borús, ma megint csodaszép idő van…) _ de azért egy nagyon jól megérdemelt villás reggelivel kezdtük, aztán folytattuk játékkal, meg olvasással, meg úgy általában pihizéssel, ami tökéletes volt egy ilyen dolgos hét után_
