_well, the week was about learning new things about the weather, our work and even scents 😀 spring is continuously blooming and the floods are coming back because of raining projected for today and onward but we are still safe, so don’t fret, this will not obstruct our progress 😀

_Ben is learning to say no to his colleagues because he is getting waaaay too much on his plate – fortunately what he has he loves 😀 interestingly, even his boss sends off not key projects, so his focus is needed and supported – but that does not make him less excruciatingly curious about what he misses 😀 I am also learning to let go of perfectionism and move forward with the best I can do – case in point is my article to the conference: I needed to submit the final version but one of my supervisors hadn’t had the time to read through it, so instead of furiously wanting his feedback and update the whole article, I submitted it knowing that I have still time to update it if I get the feedback _ such a weird feeling 😀 plus I also ruminated on my business idea and asked for mentorship which went well so I am also progressing on that front 🙂

_we had our PhD lunch as usual and beside the usual chitchats, Jaime invited us to her church for clothes swapping and an essential oil workshop on Saturday _ since Ben was occupied otherwise, I went and left a bunch of unused clothing items but didn’t bring any home 😀 I was so proud of myself 😀 Jaime tried to lure me to the dark side – bringing home some clothes – but I stayed firm 😀 mostly because I was waaay to lazy to try on any of them 😀 but it was fun and the essential oil workshop was accessorised by a 4 months old baby who after a half an hour was diving onto the table because she was tired 😀 it was so cute 😀 and fortunately, the concoctions I made were a success at home as well: Ben loved the one I made for him with some peppermint and lavender and smelled it whole evening and we even used the other with orange and lavender on our sheets 🙂

_nos a hét tanulással telt – az időjárásról, a munkánkról és még illatokról is tanultunk 😀 a tavaszodás nem állt meg és még az áradások is jönnek vissza a mai és aztán folyamatos esőzések miatt, de mi még mindig bőven biztonságban vagyunk, szóval nem kell aggódni, ez nem fogja megakasztani az előrehaladásunkat 😀

_Bence kezdi tanulni, hogy néha nemet kell mondania a melóban, mert elképesztően sok mindent raknak rá egy idő után – szerencsére, ami feladata van, azt szereti is 😀 érdekes módon, a főnöke is hajtja el az embereket, akik szeretnék Bencét kölcsön kérni, szóval az, hogy fókuszáljon, szerencsére támogatva van – viszont ez persze nem jelenti azt hogy nem fúrja az oldalát, hogy mit hagy ki 😀 én szintén tanulok – elhagyni a perfekcionizmusomat és előrehaladni azzal a maximummal amit én elő tudok állítani – jó példa erre a konferencia cikkem: be kellett adjam a végleges verziót, de még nem kaptam meg az egyik témavezetőm visszajelzéseit; szóval ahelyett, hogy idegeskedtem volna miatta, beadtam a cikket, tudván, hogyha még időben megkapom a kommenteket, akkor még be tudom frissíteni _ olyan fura érzés 😀 mindemellett még a további lépéseken is gondolkodtam és még mentort is találtam magamnak 🙂

_megvolt a szokásos PhD ebédünk is és a szokásos beszélgetések mellett Jaime meghívott minket szombatra a templomba, ahova jár, ruha cserélgetésre meg illóolaj workshopra _ mivel Bence mással foglalkozott, ezért én elmentem egyedül, és ott hagytam egy rakat nem használt ruhát, éés nem hoztam haza egyet sem 😀 olyan büszke voltam magamra 😀 Jaime megpróbált átcsábítani a sötét oldalra – hogy hozzak haza egykét darabot – de én hajlíthatatlan maradtam 😀 leginkábbis azért, mert lusta voltam ruhát próbálni 😀 de jól szórakoztunk és az illóolajos workshopon még egy 4 hónapos baba is részt vett, aki fél óra után majdnem lebukott az asztalra, annyira bebambult 😀 nagyon cuki volt 😀 és szerencsére, a kotyvalékok, amiket csináltam itthon is sikert arattak: Bence egész este azt szagolgatta amit neki csináltam borsmentából meg levendulából, és az ágyneműt befújtuk a másik narancsos-levendulással 🙂
