_this week was rather about progress than additional events as we are heading to the Christmas break (as everyone else does 😀 ) and we want to leave work for the holidays as progressed as possible_

_so this week brought huge progress for both of us _ Ben is creating data networks for his job which he enjoys immensely and starting to infect his colleagues with his enthusiasm for networks – they are curious about his findings and methods and want to see and use it _ meanwhile, I am closing in on the interview analysis’ biggest step, and with Ben’s persevering help in the housekeeping, I went ahead and did more this week than the strict schedule required 😀 so next week will be easier and I have a full whole day for buffer 😀 and this means that this part of the analysis will be finished before the holiday which is reassuring because then I will really allow myself to relax 😀

_of course, we had our PhD lunch this week as well _ Manow, our Thai friend told us her plans for the break which is working basically because they don’t really celebrate Christmas, while Charlotte was also describing what they might do _ additionally, both Ben and myself will be guinea pigs for Charlotte’s research just before Christmas, and we were also discussing what that requires – she was so grateful and cautious but we told her that if we can help in any way, then count us in, so we will be the first to test out her planned methods 🙂

_on Thursday, we went to a proposed picnic with the centre I belong to at Swinburne, organised by my supervisor, as she is the leader of centre _ however, the weather decided not to have a picnic – Ben looked out the window in advance and said that there flies the picnic with the heavy rain stirred by the strong wind 😀 but it was soon reorganised to one of the buildings so we went there, just to say hi to my supervisor, and it was weird to see her in person after half a year really 😀

_the podcast also progressed greatly _ I finished editing a marvelous interview for January and organised many more, and I am so excited for them because the people I was able to reach out to with Ben’s amazing network and attention are promising invigorating discussions!!!

_and after our last eventful weekend, and preparing for the last week of hard work to close everything down, we decided to have a quiet Saturday, with only a small walk and watching movies in the comfort of our couch _ we slept so well after such a lazy day that it showed we really needed one day like that_

_ez a hét inkább a haladásról szólt, mint bármilyen más eseményről, hiszen haladunk a karácsonyi szünet felé (mint mindenki más 😀 ) és a lehető legtöbbet haladva akarjuk lezárni az évet a pihi előtt_

_szóval ez a hét hatalmas haladást hozott mind a kettőnknek _ Bence hálózatokat készít a melójában amit rettenet mód élvez és elkezdte megfertőznia kollégáit is ezzel a lelkesedéssel – nagyon kíváncsiak arra, hogy mit csinál meg talál és hogy, és akarják látni meg használni is _ mindeközben, én nagy erőkkel robogok az interjú analízis legnagyobb részének befejezése felé Bence kitartó támogatásával, annyira, hogy a héten többet haladtam, mint az eredeti ütemtervem javasolta 😀 szóval jövő héten könnyebb dolgom lesz és van egy teljes napom tervezve buffernek 😀 ez azt is jelenti, hogy az elemzés ezen rész készen lesz karácsony előtt ami megnyugtató mert így valóban el fogom tudni engedni magam 😀

_persze, megvolt a szokásos PhD ebédünk is a héten _ Manow, a thai barátunk elregélte, hogy ő mit fog csinálni a szünetben, ami nagyjából melót jelent, mert ők nem egészen ünneplik karácsonyt, míg Charlotte elmesélte, hogy ők hogyan ünneplik majd _ továbbá, Bence is meg én is segítünk Charlotte-nak mint kísérleti nyulak a kutatásában és ezt is jól megvitattuk, hogy mit jelent – nagyon hálás meg óvatos velünk, de mondtuk neki, hogy ha tudunk neki segíteni bármilyen módon, akkor számíthat ránk, így mi leszünk az elsők akiken kiteszteli a módszereit 🙂

_csütörtökön pedig elmentünk egy tervezett piknikre, amit az a ‘központ’ tervezett amihez én is tartozom, és a témavezetőm szervezte, mert ő a vezetője a központnak _ az idő viszont határozottan kijelentette, hogy márpedig piknik itt nem lesz – Bence előzetesen kinézett az ablakon és viccelődve megjegyezte, hogy ott száll a piknikünk, a viharban esővel és erős széllel 😀 de átszervezték az egyik épületbe, úgyhogy oda mentünk, és nagyon furi volt látni Jenit élőben egy félév után 😀

_a podcast is nagyon haladt a héten _ befejeztem egy rettentő jó epizód szerkesztését januárra, és le van szervezve néhány interjú még, amiket nagyon várok, mert olyan embereket sikerült előkeríteni Bence hathatós segítségével akikkel a beszélgetés nagyon izgalmasnak ígérkezik!!!

_és a múltheti akciódús hétvégénk után meg készülve az év végi hajrára jövő héten, úgy döntöttünk, hogy egy nagyon laza napot tartunk szombaton egy kis sétával meg filmnézéssel a kanapé kényelmében _ olyan jót aludtunk ezután, hogy ez mutatja, hogy már nagyon kellett egy ilyen nap is_
