_the week was full with progress, first and foremost from Ben, I donated blood and finally, we were able to visit the French impressionist exhibition, and we even found a REALLY good cafe afterwards_

_the progress was really Ben’s this week _ one of his projects is closed and they are talking about the continuity options officially, while he was also approached by another company and the interviews went really well _ in the meantime, he also made another breakthrough within the main job, so this was a full week with professional progress for him 🙂 _ in the meantime, I also progressed, of course, but this was really his time to shine_

_on Friday, I wen to my usual quarterly blood donation, and Ben was lovely to accompany me _ the nurse vampire was really great 😀 afterwards we were walking around in the evening city, and it was sooo weird to be around to many people 😀 but we had fun 🙂

_yesterday, we were finally able to go the National Gallery of Victoria to visit the French Impressionist exhibition from Boston (this was the one we tried to visit two weeks earlier but were still closed) _ to path there goes along the pools of NGV and Ben wanted me to jump to the wall of the pool and walk on that as we saw other kids doing it 😀 the museum was full with people, and the exhibition attracted most of them _ there were Renoirs and Degas and Manets and Monets, and there were even one or two we both agreed could fit into our living room 😀 the experience itself, though, was a little surprising for me: I am used to admire the artifices from a distance behind a rope or something, but here there was nothing between me and the paintings _ everyone could get close, see them even 1 cm from the canvas, and noone shouted that DO NOT TOUCH IT!! – but noone was touching them either 😀 the kids had more fun in this environment, but they were closely guarded by their parents 😀 

_after the exhibition, we went for another walk in the city, we eat fries on the pier of Yarra, where the seagulls are reaallly annoing, but Ben taught them a lesson by hunting them down 😀 then we visited Eureka, one of the highest buildings, but the trip upwards was delayed to another day because of the long queue _ but before we returned home, Ben figured if we are in Melbourne, which is said to be the capital of coffee, then we should really try some gourmet coffee after all this time 😀 Tripadvisor is our friend, so Ben looked up a gourmet cafe, we headed there, and my universe opened up, because the coffees we were drinking were AMAZING without any addition (no milk, or whatever) _ up until this point, I did not hate coffee, I just had not drank a good one 😀 so we finished the day with this great experience and the knowledge that there should be more of these and we shall visit all of them 😀

_a hét tele volt haladással, elsősorban Bence részéről, én adtam vért, és végre elmentünk megnézni a francia impresszionista festészet kiállítást, és még egy eszméletlen jó kávézót is találtunk utána_

_a heti haladás most elsősorban Bencénél volt tetten érhető _ az egyik projektjük lezárult és már beszélgetnek a lehetséges hivatalos folytatásról, miközben egy másik cég is megkereste és az első interjúk le is zajlottak nagy sikerrel _ mindeközben persze a főállásában is áttöréseket ért el, úgyhogy ez a hét tele volt hivatásos haladással számára 🙂 _ én mindeközben persze szintén haladtam, de most ő vitte el a pálmát_

_pénteken megvolt a szokásos negyedéves véradásom, és Bence volt olyan kedves, hogy bekísért _ a nővér vámpír zseniális volt 😀 után még csattogtunk a városban, és olyan furi volt ennyi ember körül lenni 😀 de jól éreztük magunkat 🙂

_tegnap pedig végre elmentünk a Victoria Nemzeti Galériába megnézni a francia impresszionista festészeti kiállítást Bostonból (ez volt az, amit két héttel ezelőtt akartunk csak be volt zárva) _ az utunk a NGV medencéi mellett vezetett el, és Bence meg akart győzni, hogy pattanjak fel a medence falára és sétáljak rajta, mint ahogy a többi gyerektől láttuk 😀 a múzeum is tele volt emberrel, és maga a kiállítás vonzotta a legtöbbet közülük _ voltak ott Renoir-ok, Degas-k, meg Manet-k és Monet-k és volt egy-kettő amiben mind a ketten egyetértettünk, hogy jól nézne ki a nappaliban 😀 maga az élmény viszont kicsit meglepő volt számomra, mert én ahhoz szoktam, hogy a műkincseket 1-2 m-ről csodáljuk, egy kötél vagy valami mögül, de itt nem volt semmi köztem és a festmények között _ mindenki közel mehetett, és akár 1 cm-ről is megvizsgálhatta a festményeket, és senki nem kiabált hogy NE MENJ OLYAN KÖZEL!!! – de senki nem is érintette meg a festményeket 😀 a gyerekeknek így több szórakozásuk volt, de a szüleik is elég közelről felügyelték őket 😀

_a kiállítás után megint elmentünk sétálni a városba, aztán ettünk sült krumplit az egyik stégen a Yarrán, ahol szemtelen sirályok is voltak, de Bence jól megleckéztette őket  vadászott rájuk 😀 aztán elmentünk az Euréka toronyházhoz, az egyik legmagasabb épület Melbourne-ben, de a látogatást a legtetejére elhalasztottuk, mert nagy volt a sor _ de mielőtt hazatértünk volna, Bence kitalálta, hogy ha már Melbourne-ben vagyunk, amit a kávé fővárosának mondanak, akkor igazán kipróbáltatnánk már valami gurmé kávét ennyi idő után itt 😀 Tripadvisor a barátunk, úgyhogy Bence keresett egy gurmé kávézót a közelben, odamentünk, és az univerzumom kitágult, mert a kávék zseniálisak voltak mindenféle  hozzáadás nélkül (se tej, se semmi más) _ egészen idáig nem utáltam a kávét, csak nem ittam még olyan, ami jó kávé lett volna 😀 úgyhogy a napot be is fejeztük ezzel a szuper élménnyel és a tudattak, hogy ilyenből még lennie kell itt, és hogy mi mindet jól meg fogjuk látogatni 😀
