_yeah, I know it is a little click-bait, but we still had an explosion – everyone is fine, noone is hurt, only our apple pie is in danger of any kind 😀 beside this, we had an eventful week, not just an eventful weekend 😀

_we started off with a HackerSpace visit on Monday _ the maker- or hackerspaces of Australia (and I guess all over the world?) are community operated spaces with special tools to make things – the name is not that surprising 😀 _ in Australia, there is great tradition of maker spaces in schools, and even in neighbourhoods to let people gather and use gadgets together to make some interesting stuff _ since both of us likes to fidget with and create stuff, we decided to go there and see what equipment they have in the HackerSpace near us _ well, I was more than surprised – based on previous knowledge, I thought there would be some drills and saws _ here, on the contrary, there were some 3D printers, CNC machines and motherboard building machines for the use of the members – it was really cool _ the members were also very interesting – all working on their own projects while talking with their friends and helping each other out with specific questions _ the place’s status was even increased by two very friendly dogs which we were patting the whole time being there_

_during the week, we had progressed a great deal again in our respective projects _ Ben created some answers and questions for his main job while also advancing the side projects, and I was interviewing 2 more people while organising more interviews for the future and one of my articles was accepted to a workshop by a journal which sounds promising (it turned out in the last two weeks that I am the same of my family: my mother has produced 2 articles while I have been doing my PhD and both are published already 😀 congrats, Mom again 🙂 ) _ and, following Ben’s idea, we decided to watch Crocodile Dundee _ as it is based Australia, it was refreshing to watch it after sooo many years – and listening to the original voices made the movie so much better for us 😀

_and finally, yesterday we had a really eventful day: with smoothies and reading, and book club digesting the marvelous Atomic Habits book _ but the main surprise came around lunch when our oven decided that its inner glass’ time had come and said a very loud farwell to the cruel world – to put it simply, it exploded _ the main thing, the food inside, fortunately was not affected being covered, but the problem is that I wanted to bake some apple pies afterwards – which are now sitting in our fridge very sad 😀 fortunately, we have very good friends, and Jaime just agreed to be the heroin and the pie saver of the day and allow us to use her oven to bake the pie – so do not fear, it will be not in vain 😀

_igenigen, tudom, kicsit ilyen szenzáció hajhász, de tényleg volt robbanás nálunk – mindenki jól van, senki nem sérült meg, csak az almás piténk van bármilyen veszélyben 😀 emellett amúgy egy egész mozgalmas hetünk volt, nem csak mozgalmas hétvégénk 😀

_egy hétfői látogatással kezdtünk a közeli Alkotó Műhelyben _ az ausztráliai alkotó műhelyek (és persze bárhol a világon?) a közösség által üzemeltetett helyek extra eszközökkel alkotásra – a név nem is annyira meglepő 😀 _ Ausztráliában ennek nagy hagyománya van az iskolában és néhány kerületben is megalakultak a helyek, ahol emberek össze tudnak jönni és csinálni izgis dolgokat mindenféle extra bigyót használva _ mivel mind a ketten szeretünk mütyürkézni, úgy döntöttünk, hogy érdemes lenne megnézni a közeli alkotói helyet meg az ott fellelhető extra dolgokat _ hát én meglepődtem – megelőző tudás alapján arra számítottam, hogy lesz egy-két fúró meg fűrész meg ilyenek – itt 3D nyomtatóval meg CNC marógéppel meg alaplap építő géppel várják a tagokat – nagyon menő volt _ a tagok szintén nagyon érdekesek voltak – mind a saját projektjén dolgozik, miközben csevegnek a barátaikkal, és segítenek egymásnak specifikus dolgokban _ a hely nívója még tovább emelkedett két nagyon barátságos kutyával, akiket végig simiztünk ottlétünk alatt_

_a hét közben persze megint rengeteget haladtunk a saját dolgainkkal _ Bence kreált válaszokat meg kérdéseket a fő melójában meg segítette a mellékprojektjeinek a haladását is, miközben én meg meginterjúvoltam 2 embert és szerveztem további interjúkat, és az egyik cikkemet befogadta az egyik újság egy workshopra – ami ígéretesnek hangzik (mindeközben kiderült, hogy a család szégyene vagyok: anyu, mióta kijöttünk, megírt két cikket és publikálták is már őket 😀 gratula, Mami 🙂 )_ mindeközben, Bence ötletét követve, megnéztük a Krokodil Dundeet _ ugye Ausztráliában játszódik, és elég király volt megnézni oly sok év után – meg az eredeti szinkronnal meghallgatni, rengeteget adott hozzá 😀

_és végül, tegnap volt a legeseménydúsabb napunk a héten: turmixokkal, meg olvasással meg könyvklubbal ahol az Atomi szokások című könyvet emésztettük _ viszont a legnagyobb meglepetés ebéd környékén érkezett, amikor a sütőnk belső üvege úgy döntött, hogy eljött az ő ideje és igen hangosan mondott búcsút eme kegyetlen világnak – hogy egyszerűen fogalmazzak, felrobbant _ a legfontosabb dologgal, a hami belül, szerencsére nem történt semmi, mert le volt takarva, de az a problémánk volt, hogy akartam még almás pitét is sütni – ami jelenleg a hűtőnkben árválkodik nyersen és szomorúan 😀 szerencsére, nagyon kedves barátaink vannak, és Jaime már bele is egyezett, hogy a nap hőse és az almás piték megmentője lesz, és használhatjuk a sütőjüket eme kritikus pillanatban – szóval nem kell aggódni, nem hiába lett előkészítve az az almás pite (amit Bencével mind a ketten úgy érzünk, hogy nagyon is megérdemeljük ennyi takarítás után) 😀
