_well, we had a marvelous week full with sunshine, and now we are sitting inside, while the gloomy Anglo-Saxon weather roars above us, at least outside of our apartment 😀 but we made the most of the perhaps last summer days during the week_

_first and foremost, both of us are working still really hard, do not fear that _ Ben was experimenting with something during the week for a solution in the main job, and of course made progress with other stuff as well _ I, in the meantime, was writing my thesis (already at 32000 words from the minimum 75000 for 2022 June 😀 ), and I started a side project as well, which I will introduce in due time also but is quite interesting and exciting_

_outside of work, Jaime was here with us to have a nice lunch on Tuesday, we had our PhD lunch with our friends on Thursday, we went for our daily walks in beautiful sunshine (even met with another friend during one of my walks), and on Wednesday, even had a longer walk in the evening together – and while we were not at all afraid of the darkness itself, the unknown inhabitants frightened us, so we stuck to the concrete path and watching the animals in the shrubbery (we saw at least two opossums which we were able to identify 😀 )_

_however, we decided to celebrate the good weather with snorkeling at Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary, and thank God, we did, because it was amazing _ we were almost the only once on the shore when we arrived (for the afternoon, the shore was full with people), so we chose the perfect spot to drop everything down and go into the bay at once _ we tried different paths in because we wanted to disturb the nature as little as possible, but finally, we were in the water admiring the perfection of the wilderness under water _ we have seen a lot of fish, and different kinds, much more than at the Jawbone Marine Sanctuary – there were big, and small, and long, and short, and thin, and puffy, and with big or short fins, not to mention the various star fish with different colors and number of arms _ it was amazing – and sadly, we did not bring our camera to the water, because we thought to return for a second round _ so we went out to lay on the sunshine for a while, to relax and catch our breath – when to clouds decided to take the stage and cover the sun… (the late arrivals did not have such a good time on the shore as we did…) so we did not go back to the water, but wandered a little around the shore and made some pictures in the puddles left behind by the high-tide, full with life_

_it was a perfect day finished with our second bookclub with our Hungarian friends coming in and discussing a book about diets _ it was fascinating to discuss such a not-so-easy topic without being angry and aggressive about any of the sides – the perfect, invigorating ending for our day_

_nos, nagyon király hetünk volt tele napsütéssel, úgyhogy most egészen találónak tűnik, hogy bent ülünk miközben az angolszász időjárás tombol fölöttünk 😀 de kihasználtuk a talán utolsó nyári napokat_

_elsősorban, mind a ketten nagyon keményen dolgozunk, ezen nem kell aggódni _ Bence kísérletezett valamivel a héten a főmelójához, és haladt közben a saját kis projekteivel is _ mindeközben szerény személyem, már a tézist írom (már 32000 szónál tartok a 2022 júniusára szükséges 75000-ből 😀 ) és egy másik dolgot is elkezdtem mellette, amit idővel itt is be fogok mutatni, de nagyon izgalmas és érdekes_

_melón kívül, Jaime jött hozzánk ebédre kedden, megvolt a szokásos PhD ebédünk a barátainkkal csütörtökön, voltak napi sétáink a csodás napsütésben (az egyik nap még egy másik baráttal is találkoztam séta közben), és szerdán még egy hosszabb esti sétát is beiktattunk közösen – és bár nem féltünk a sötéttől, megfelelően tiszteletteljes távolságot tartottunk az ismeretlen helyi lakóktól, tartva magunkat a járdához és nézegetve a helyi állatkákat a bozótosban (legalább 2 oposszumot láttunk, amit be is tudtunk azonosítani 😀 )_

_de mindezek mellett eldöntöttük, hogy megünnepeljük a csodás időt még egy kis búvárkodással Ricketts Point Marine Sancutary-nél, és hála Istennek, hogy így tettünk, mert csodás volt _ nagyjából egyedül voltunk mikor megérkeztünk (délutánra ez jól megváltozott, part tele lett emberekkel), úgyhogy kiválasztottunk egy szuper helyet, ledobtunk mindent is, és bevágtattunk a vízbe _ megpróbáltunk több helyen is bemenni, mert olyan utat kerestünk, ahol a legkevésbé zavarjuk az élővilágot, de aztán bejutottunk és búvárkodtunk rácsodálkozva a víz alatti vadonra _ láttunk egy rakat halat, mindenféle variációban, sokkal többet mint Jawbone-nál – voltak nagyok, meg kicsik, meg hosszúak, meg rövidek, meg vékonyak meg pufik, meg rövid és hosszú uszonyúak, nem beszélve a rengeteg tengeri csillagról mindenféle színben meg számú ággal _ elképesztő volt látni, és sajnos nem vittük be a kameránkat a vízbe, mert terveztünk egy második bemenetet is _ úgyhogy kievickéltünk a partra, hogy napozzunk meg erőt gyűjtsünk a második körre – amikor is a felhők úgy döntöttek, hogy eleget szerepelt a nap, most övék a főszerep és eltakarták a napot… (a későn érkezőknek már nem volt olyan csodás a vízpart mint nekünk emiatt…) úgyhogy nem mentünk vissza a vízbe, csak sétáltunk a parton és csináltunk képeket a part menti kis állóvízekben, amiket a dagály hagyott hátra tele élettel_

_egy tökéletes napot a második könyvklubbunkkal fejeztük be az otthoni barátaink becsatlakozásával egy hogyan egyél könyv megvitatásával _ elképesztően jó volt megvitatni ezt a nem könnyű témát anélkül, hogy bárki mérges vagy aggresszív lett volna bármelyik irányba – élénkítő és értelmes beszélgetés volt_
